Stepping Up and Being There for The Next Generation

Stepping Up and Being There for The Next Generation

Last month, I had the opportunity to sit down with Anthony Scaramucci and Scott Galloway on their podcast, Lost Boys. We talked about a lot of important topics like the disappearance of shop classes, the importance of vocational education, and even how the phone has become the enemy for these young men.

But one thing that still stands out to me from our conversation is the topic of mentorship. See, the next generation of men is yearning for it, yet no one wants to step up and show them the way. Finding mentors who are willing and patient enough to guide others is the hardest part of our apprentice programs at Crash Champions.

Look, I get it. We all get caught up in our own little worlds and become selfish sometimes, but that’s no longer an excuse. I need to do better. You need to do better. We all need to do better on this issue.

Because it’s not about us. It’s about the next generation of young men and making sure they don’t get lost.
