A Shortage We Cannot Ignore

A Shortage We Cannot Ignore

Let’s not beat around the bush. The future is daunting. While there’s a laundry list of terrifying possibilities, what scares me the most is the blue-collar shortage we’re about to face.

By 2030, over 100,000 collision repair technicians will retire, and we’re already struggling to fill those roles. You should be concerned about this, too. What happens if you get in an accident and there’s no one to fix your car?

Worse, it’s not just collision repair. Every blue-collar industry is facing the same crisis. Mechanics, HVAC technicians, carpenters. The very jobs that keep our world running.

I don’t know about you, but this looming shortage keeps me up at night. That’s why we need to rally and inspire the next generation to roll up their sleeves and see the skilled trades as a viable career path with real opportunity.

Luckily, many already have, and that gives me hope. But there’s still so much more work to do. I’m out here championing the blue-collar trades and doing my part to make sure we have the people we need to keep the world running.

Who’s ready to join me?
